East side or west side for lunch downtown? I keep going back and forth

I work near Peachtree Center and have been trying to decide between the food court at Peachtree Center or walking over to the Sweet Auburn Curb Market for lunch. Peachtree Center has that quick Chinese place I like but Sweet Auburn has the real soul food spot. I picked Sweet Auburn twice last week and my wallet felt it at $12 a plate versus $8. Which side do you guys think is worth the extra walk and money for better food?

Buddy from the gym said he found a roach in his rice at Peachtree. Stick with Sweet Auburn.

Man, that's nasty. But it's wild how one bad experience like that makes you question every place you've ever eaten at. It's like once you see something gross in one spot, you start noticing all the little things that are off everywhere else. People think it's just about the food but it's really about trust, you know? You gotta wonder how many places are coasting on reputation while cutting corners.

Honestly, I've been in this exact spot. If you're trying to save a few bucks, Peachtree Center is fine for a quick lunch, but that roach story makes me nervous. Sweet Auburn is worth the walk and the extra money because you're getting a real meal that actually fills you up, not just something to choke down between meetings. I'd recommend going to Sweet Auburn like once a week as a treat and hitting Peachtree the other days. That way you don't break the bank but you still get good food. Plus the walk helps you wake up for the afternoon.
