Found an old MARTA pass in a coat pocket, had to share

Cleaned out my jacket yesterday and a 2019 Breeze card fell out with like $14 left on it. I figured it was dead but the machine at Five Points still read it, wild. Anyone else ever get a surprise refund from a transit card they forgot about?

Found $12 on an old STM card last month and felt like I won the lottery. Then I realized that's barely half a sandwich downtown, so basically I found a sad croissant. Transit cards are the only place where getting money back feels like a scam, like oh cool, I can finally afford one ride to somewhere I didn't even need to go. Still, $14 is better than the lint I usually find in my pockets, so nice score.
