I finally had a perfect week at the farmers market booth last month
Last month I set up at the Grant Park location on Saturday morning and everything just clicked. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not rainy. I sold out of my sourdough loaves by 10:30 which never happens. Then a regular came by and bought three jars of my peach jam because she said her family loved the last batch. The best part was swapping stories with the booth next to me, a lady who sells honey. She gave me a tip about pricing my stuff higher because people actually trust quality. Has anyone else had one of those days where the whole market just feels right and you wonder if you should change your routine to match?

Wait, isn't Grant Park mostly a Sunday market though?

My buddy tried the Sunday market last month and ended up buying a $5 painting of a cat wearing a hat.

That bit about "the whole market just feels right" hits hard. My friend @shane_morgan had that happen at a flea market last summer. He set up to sell old vinyl records, didn't expect much, but this one collector walked by and bought his entire stack of 70s jazz albums for like $300 cash. The guy even tipped him an extra $20 because he was so happy. Shane stayed open an hour later than usual just chatting with that honey lady you mentioned, and his next week of sales doubled. Makes you wonder if these perfect days are just luck or if we're supposed to learn something from them.
