Just heard a guy at the Kirkwood coffee shop say the beltline chatter is all noise
Ran into Marcus, a retired MARTA planner, at the Kirkwood shop on Saturday and he said the online buzz about the beltline is 90 percent people who never ride it. He told me the real talk happens at the monthly NPU meetings and almost nobody shows up. I've been reading these threads for 3 years and never went to one. Anybody here actually been to an NPU meeting in their neighborhood, and is it worth the two hours?
