Just realized the neighborhood watch app actually catches real stuff

I was skeptical about Nextdoor alerts after all the lost cat posts, but last week someone spotted a guy testing car doors on 3rd Ave at 2am and police got him before he hit our block. Have any of you had the app actually help with something concrete, or is it mostly drama in your area too?
