Just wasted $140 on a 'fast' traffic light fix in Decatur

I paid a local guy $140 to rewire the sensor loop near my shop because cars were sitting forever. He claimed it would cut wait times in half, but after two weeks it's exactly the same chaos, maybe worse. Now I'm wondering if I should've just called the county and filed a formal request instead. Anyone else thrown cash at a traffic timing fix and gotten zero results?

Read the county does those sensors for free anyway.

Man, I totally had it backwards on this one. I always figured those monitors were some paid service thing, so I never bothered checking into it. Seeing that the county just handles it for free makes me want to actually get one installed now.
