Depends on where you live honestly. If you're inside the perimeter near a station, MARTA is a no-brainer especially when parking fees at the airport run like $20 a day now. Took MARTA from Lindbergh last month and door to gate took about 45 minutes total which is way faster than dealing with all that traffic on 75/85 plus the parking shuttle wait. The only time I'd drive is if it's super early like 4am when the trains don't run as often or if I'm flying with a ton of luggage. Just check the schedule for your station because sometimes late night trains take forever.

Ngl, you summed it up perfectly. That 45 minutes from Lindbergh sounds like a dream when you factor in how unpredictable the parking shuttle can be. Honestly, MARTA just makes sense for anyone who doesn't live too far out.

Parking fees at the airport run like $20 a day now" - that got me, @kim_mason55. I used to be one of those people who swore driving was faster no matter what. But last time I sat in parking shuttle line for 25 minutes with my bags, I started rethinking everything. Tried MARTA from Sandy Springs on a Thursday afternoon and got from my seat to the gate in about 50 minutes. That's with a 10 minute wait for the train too. Still feels weird not having my car, but saving that parking money adds up fast when you fly a few times a year.
