The landlord raised my rent $400 after I mentioned the leaky AC
Last month I casually told my landlord about the AC dripping in my Midtown unit and now he's hitting me with a $400 rent hike at renewal, so has anyone else learned to just keep quiet about apartment issues until you've already signed?

Ugh yeah, learned that the hard way, so now I only email issues with photos and never say a word in person.
