30 years of mixing and matching APs and I finally figured out the issue
Back in 2015 I was running a motel off 285 with three different router brands and blamed the building for every dead zone. A guest who worked IT asked why I had SSIDs named Net1, Net2, and Net3 and pointed out they kept dropping his calls as he walked the halls. Why did it take me that long to learn roaming only works when gear talks the same language, anyone else build a network like a Frankenstein and regret it?
