I finally hit 50 contacts at my monthly Atlanta meetup, and the one that mattered was a guy from Marietta
I started going to the Thursday networking group at the Roam Dunwoody spot about a year ago, and last month my contact list from those nights crossed 50 people. The one that actually helped was a guy from Marietta who runs a small IT shop, he sent me two referrals in a single month. Curious if folks here get more out of the big downtown mixers or the smaller suburban groups.
