Met a guy at the Buckhead coffee shop who actually followed up

Been to a dozen networking events and nobody ever follows up. This random guy from the coffee line messaged me 2 days later with a solid referral. Anyone else find real connections in the weirdest places?

Black.oliver, you're missing the POINT entirely. A random referral out of nowhere is HUGE in Atlanta's Buckhead scene where everyone's fake-polite. Finding someone who actually does what they say they'll do is like finding a unicorn.
