Sat 30 minutes waiting for a router to reboot at a Peachtree Corners meetup

I was at a Thursday evening networking event at that new co-working space near Peachtree Corners and their wifi went down right when I was about to show my portfolio. Took the organizer almost an hour to find someone who knew how to reset the main router in the basement utility closet. Has anyone else run into terrible internet at Atlanta networking spots that kills the whole vibe?

Bad wifi builds character honestly.

Used to think any wifi was fine for a quick demo, but after hanging around a dozen different meetups I get it now. Nothing kills momentum like everyone staring at a loading circle for ten minutes. What spots actually have reliable internet around here?

Wait, @brooke448 have you tried any of the coworking spots near the uni? The library there usually has solid wifi since it's built for heavy traffic. Also most coffee chains with a "business" section in the name tend to prioritize their internet over the mom and pop places.

Yo @david_palmer nailed it with the uni library suggestion, that place is basically built to handle a hundred people streaming video at once. I've had good luck at the coffee shop attached to the main St. Viateur bagel spot too (the one with the big communal table), their wifi hasn't let me down during a demo yet. Also check out the public library's main branch on the second floor, they have a separate quiet zone where the signal is way stronger than the ground level. Avoid the cafe inside the bookstore downtown though, that one always drops at the worst moment.
