Swapped my pitch deck for a simple one-pager at a Buckhead meetup, way better results
I used to bring a full 12 slide deck to every networking event, thinking it showed I was serious. Last month at a Buckhead coffee meetup, this guy named Marcus glanced at my iPad and said 'nobody wants to read that over a latte.' He showed me his one page with just his name, what he fixes, and a QR code. I tried it at the next two events and got 6 real follow ups compared to maybe 1 before. Has anyone else downsized their materials and seen a jump in actual conversations?

That 6 to 1 jump is real, so what did the one-pager actually say that made people follow up instead of just nodding and moving on?
