That time at the Piedmont Park meetup made me rethink my business cards

I went to that tech networking thing at Piedmont Park last Saturday and handed out maybe 30 cards... only to realize half of them had the wrong phone number because I forgot to update the template after I switched carriers. The guy from the coffee shop next to the pond actually tried to call me right there and it went to some random person. I spent the next 45 minutes scribbling the correct number on the back of each card I still had. Now I always print a test batch of 10 cards before ordering 500. Has anyone else had a stupid printing mistake mess up a whole networking event?

Wait, was it actually the coffee shop next to the pond? I thought that was a hot dog stand near the playground. Either way, printing a test batch is a solid idea.

oh totally, i had the same mixup for ages too. for me it was the little bakery on the north side of the pond that i kept thinking was the hot dog stand. @milalewis i swear i walked around that whole pond three times before i figured it out lol. but yeah printing a test batch is smart, it saves so much hassle down the line.
