The retiree at a Perimeter Center meetup who asked me one question about my business
I was at a Thursday night mixer in Perimeter Center about 5 years ago, handing out cards and doing the usual 30 second pitch to anybody who made eye contact. This older guy named Harold listened to my whole speech, then asked "so what do people actually hire you for?" and I realized I could not answer it in one clean sentence. Do you all still fumble that question at Atlanta events, or did you figure out your answer fast?

Does one awkward convo with a retiree at a mixer really mean you need a whole polished one liner? Sometimes you just ramble and it comes out fine later. Half the people at those events are just there for the free snacks anyway.
