TIL a $90 consult in Alpharetta fixed my whole event pitch

Honestly, I kept pitching my networking meetups the same way for 2 years and kept getting ghosted. A local organizer told me I was selling the agenda, not the room, so now I lead with who shows up and it works way better. Anyone else get feedback that totally flipped their approach?
