Update: dropped $250 on a speed networking event in Buckhead and got zero leads
I paid $250 for a speed networking night at a hotel in Buckhead last month and it was mostly insurance agents pitching me. The 6 minute rounds meant nobody actually got past small talk, so no real contacts came out of it. Has anyone found a free or cheap Atlanta meetup that actually leads to real work?
