Went to the Buckhead meetup thinking business cards were dead, one stack of 40 proved me wrong
I honestly thought paper cards were pointless at networking events, everything is LinkedIn now, right? But at the Tuesday mixer at the Buckhead Club on Peachtree, a guy named Marcus handed me his card and followed up with a note the next morning, and it stuck way more than any DM I've gotten. Now I'm curious if this is just an Atlanta thing or if cards are making a comeback everywhere. Has anyone else switched back to carrying them around town?
