PSA: got into it with a painter at the supply house in Dallas about blending clear on bumpers
He said he never blends clear on a bumper, just panels it and walks away, claims blending always fails in 2 years. I said that's crazy, every shop I know blends on plastic because you can't match factory texture panel to panel. He told me he's been doing it 22 years and has zero comebacks, I've only been at it 9. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I've been doing extra work for nothing this whole time. Anyone here panel it instead of blending on bumpers, and how does it hold up after a couple summers?
