Rant: A customer in Austin brought in a Tesla with a dented rocker panel last week. The quote from their certified shop was over $4,000. We did it for half, but the fight over the radar calibration was a whole new thing.

Ugh, the calibration fight is the worst part now! We just tell people upfront that it's a separate, non-negotiable line item.

Tell me about it, those sensor calibrations are a whole new world of pain. Feels like the bill doubles the second a computer gets involved. Solid work getting it done for them though.

Yeah, it's not really the computer's fault though... the sensors themselves are just pricey now. @perry.jesse has the right idea making it a clear separate charge.
