That rear quarter panel on a 2015 Civic took me 2 full days
Customer brought in a Civic with damage that looked like a simple pull and fill, but the inner structure was folded in a way I have never seen. Spent all day Tuesday fighting the stud welder and slide hammer, got nowhere. Wednesday I finally cut out the inner brace and welded in a new section from a donor car. Has anyone else run into these unibody issues where the damage is way deeper than the outside shows?

Nah, sounds like you missed the inner rail damage before you even started. Skill issue.
