He told me 320 on the blend edge was leaving scratches that popped under the clear 2 months later at the Little Rock shop, so I dropped back to 180 and my comebacks basically stopped, but now I'm second guessing if I should go even coarser on certain colors, what grit are you guys finishing with before sealer?
Curious what colors you noticed the scratches popping on, because some metallics hide damn near anything while straight blacks will show every mark you put in there. Dropping to 180 makes sense if your sealer is biting into the scratches instead of laying flat over them. Do you check the blend under a light before you seal, or just eyeball it and send it?
