PSA: had a caliper bolt back out on a test drive around the block, and the noise scared me half to death
Doing brakes on a 2011 Silverado in my driveway here in Amarillo and I guess I got distracted by my dog barking at the mail lady. Took it around the block to seat the pads and heard this awful clang, so I limped it back and found the lower caliper bolt gone, bracket flopping loose. Spent 40 minutes with a magnet fishing it out of the gutter and now I hit every caliper bolt with blue Loctite and a torque wrench, no exceptions. Anybody else ever have a bolt you swore you tightened come back to haunt you?

Sounds scary but one loose bolt doesn't mean you need Loctite on everything, just saying.
