PSA: started spraying brake cleaner on every rotor job after what a tech in Baytown showed me
I used to just hit rotors with a rag and call it good on brake jobs. Then a guy named Sal at a shop off Garth Road in Baytown showed me the rust ridge left on the pads after I skipped it, and the comeback cost the shop 2 hours of free labor. Now I keep a can on the bench and spray every set before they go on, takes 30 seconds. Anybody got another small step that cuts down comebacks like that?
