The $350 code scanner that paid for itself in one week
Bought a mid range scanner off Amazon out of desperation after my Snap On one took a dump. Turns out it caught a bad crankshaft sensor on a customer's F150 that would've taken me hours to find by hand. That one job covered the cost and now I use it for everything. Anyone else running cheaper scan tools instead of the expensive brands?

Man that Snap On failure stings, I had the same thing happen with mine back in March and almost gave up on scanners altogether. It's wild how the cheaper box caught that sensor instantly, nothing wrong with saving money when it works just as good.
