Thought ceramic brake pads were just a sales pitch until my rotors lasted 70k miles in Phoenix
I used to roll my eyes when the parts guy pushed ceramic over semi metallic, but after swapping them on my own truck at 30k and pulling the wheels at 100k in that Phoenix heat with barely any dust or lip on the rotors, I'm a believer, so what's everyone else running on their daily drivers?
My buddy Dave ran ceramics on his Tacoma out in Tucson and got 85k out of a set of rotors before he finally swapped them. He drives like a maniac too, so that sold me right there. They cost a bit more up front but the dust alone makes it worth it.
