Tried rebuilding a Ford 5.4 Triton timing chain with the engine still in the truck

Got everything lined up perfect on the passenger side but stripped the VCT phaser bolt on the driver side and now I'm wondering if anyone else has tried the crank holding tool from Harbor Freight or if I should just pull the whole engine out.

Man that's a tough break with those VCT bolts.

Those VCT bolts saved me $200 over the OEM ones though.

Those 10mm bolts snap clean if you torque them past 18 ft-lbs (ask me how I know).
