Warning: I read in a shop manual that some 2018 Ford F-150s have a hidden fuse for the trailer module behind the glove box. Had to pull the whole dash trim to find it.

Classic Ford engineering right there.

Ever wonder if they make some parts cheap on purpose so the rest of the car feels more solid by comparison?

Wait, did you actually have to pull the whole dash trim or was it just the glove box liner and a couple panels? I've seen some manuals make stuff sound way worse than it actually is. Half the time you just need to pop a few clips and slide the glove box out, not rip the whole dash apart lol. Might be worth double checking before spreading the panic.

Seriously, they hid a fuse behind the glove box? That means you had to take apart the whole dash for a tiny fuse. I had to pull a door panel once just to replace a speaker, and that felt stupid. But the entire dash trim? That's next level.
