Wrote off those cheap ratcheting wrenches for 3 years, then a Mitsubishi in Tulsa changed my mind
I always figured anything under $40 a set was junk, so I kept reaching for my old combo wrenches on every job. A guy at my shop in Tulsa let me borrow his $35 set on a rusty exhaust manifold last week, and I had all 4 bolts off in about half the time it normally takes me. The gear teeth held up fine even with a cheater bar on one stuck nut. Guess I was wrong about the price tag meaning weak tools. Anyone else got a cheap tool that turned out to be a keeper?
