Hit 300 whp on the dyno last Friday and honestly I laughed out loud
I've been slowly building my 2013 WRX for two years now, mostly weekend stuff in my garage in Reno, and my goal was always just to break 300 at the wheels. Last Friday I finally got it on the dyno and it put down 304 whp at 22 psi after I bumped timing a hair and cleaned up the tune. I sat there staring at the screen because my first pull ever on this car was 218, and I honestly didn't think those little changes would add up to that much. The tuner said my intake temps were killing me all along and the bigger top mount was doing more than I gave it credit for. What number snuck up on you guys after you thought you were still miles away from it?
