Calibration is taking forever and our inspections are backed up, what do you guys do to cope?

Yeah we started booking our next calibration before the current one expires. Gives us a buffer so we're never waiting on a critical tool.

Honestly it feels like waiting is the new normal for everything now lol. Calibration hell just fits right in with slow shipping and repair times. The whole system is basically built on delays and then we get blamed for backlogs. Just gotta laugh sometimes or you'd go nuts staring at that pending queue.

But is waiting actually worse now, or do we just notice it more? Remember when standard shipping meant weeks, not days? Blaming the system for every delay seems like an easy way out, doesn't it? Maybe calibration hell isn't that different from how things always were.
