Dropped $1,100 on a used IFR 6000 and I'm still not sure if it was a steal or a mistake
Bought it off a retiring tech in Wichita last spring and it passed its first transponder check with no drama, so half my brain says it paid for itself already. The other half keeps reading forum threads about repair costs on these units and I wonder if I just bought a paperweight with a screen. For those of you running your own test gear instead of borrowing the company box, was it worth owning or did you end up renting? Trying to figure out if I double down on it or flip it before something goes bad.
