I keep a little pocket notebook of every squawk I've cleared since I started on the line at a shop near DFW, and the count rolled past 2,000 this week. The weird part is number 1,500 was a flap disagree that ate my whole shift, and the one that tipped me over the mark was a five minute pitot heat connector swap. Same little box of parts, same logbook, but I sat in the truck for a bit thinking about how many of those fixes I couldn't even remember now. Any of you keep track of stuff like this, or am I the odd one with the notebook?
