Old timer's callout on my wire bundling changed my whole approach

A guy who did F-16 avionics back in the 80s watched me dress a harness in Memphis and said 'you're making a bird's nest, not a bundle.' He showed me how he runs each wire with a deliberate bend radius and uses lacing cord at 6 inch intervals instead of zip ties. I switched to that method and my rework calls dropped by maybe 30% over 4 months. Anyone else get schooled by a veteran tech and end up grateful for the embarrassment?

Old Jack from Sikorsky taught me the same trick, still lace every harness I build.
