The pin pusher trick that made me feel stupid after 5 years
I used to fight with Deutsch connectors using a tiny flathead and swearing, until a guy from the 737 line showed me how a proper pin pusher tool saves the whole process. He made me try it on a stubborn #20 pin that I'd been wrestling for 20 minutes, and it popped out in 2 seconds clean. Anyone else have a basic tool they avoided for way too long before someone slapped sense into them?

Man I feel this so hard. I spent two years using a paperclip and pure anger on those things, then my buddy handed me the right tool and I swear I heard angels sing. I still keep the paperclip in my box just to remind myself how dumb I was.

Did you catch that bit in the original post about how the tool basically pays for itself in time saved? I read somewhere that guys who switch to proper pin tools cut their connector work time by like 90 percent. Honestly, that matches what I've seen, once you stop fighting the part, the job just flows.
