Poured concrete vs pavers, wish I did this 3 years ago

Finally swapped my cracked slab for pavers in the back corner near the grill. Took one weekend and the drainage is way better, no more puddles after Tuesday's storm. Anyone else ditch concrete for something that actually handles rain?

Heard a local landscaper on the radio saying pavers let water soak in instead of running off to your foundation. That alone sold me, plus they don't crack when the ground shifts. Sounds like you made the right call for the long haul.
