Swapped my cheap plastic hose for a rubber one after it burst on me twice in one month

Used to buy those $10 garden hoses from the hardware store every spring because I didn't want to spend $60 on a rubber one, but after the second one split open while I was watering my tomato bed in July I finally shelled out for a better hose and now I don't have to deal with kinks or leaks every time I turn the spigot on has anyone else made that switch or are you still fighting with the cheap stuff?

The rubber hose was a game changer for me too. I used to have those green plastic ones that would get stiff in the sun and kink up every time I moved it. After the third one cracked at the faucet connector I bought a Craftsman rubber hose and it's been going strong for three years now. No more leaks and it actually coils up nice when I'm done.

Same here. Those green plastic ones are garbage, they don't last a season. Glad yours has held up.

Made me remember the sprinkler I had that just spun around on the ground, never did figure out why it stopped working.
