I burned $95 on a piping gel class that taught me less than a free video did
Last month I signed up for a two hour online class on piping gel flowers because I kept messing up my roses and thought a pro would fix it. The class cost $95 and the teacher was nice, but all she did was show the same swirl I already knew from free clips. She never said how thin the gel should be, and when I asked in the chat, she just said to practice more. I sat there for two hours and my practice board looked worse than before I started. The gel itself set weird because my kitchen was too warm, and none of that was covered. I ended up going back to a free video from a bakery in Ohio that fixed my rose in ten minutes. So my question is, has anyone found a gel class that actually shows the right thickness and room temp, or should I just keep using free stuff?
