My aunt's tip about chilling cookie dough overnight made a sticky mess of my kitchen
She swore by it at Christmas, but when I tried her exact recipe last week, the dough turned into a gluey blob that took an hour to scrape off my counter, so has anyone else found that advice only works with certain butters?
