What kind of scale did you end up getting, and did you find that weighing your water and flour made the biggest difference, or was it more about the starter itself?

Forget the starter for a second. Did you start weighing your final dough ingredients too, or just the starter feed? My flat loaves were always from messing up the main dough hydration by using cups.
