PSA: That $45 Nordic Ware Bundt pan I bought from an Amazon reseller came with a hairline crack that ruined my cake batter first use
Lost a whole batch of cream cheese pound cake batter through the crack and the pan warped in the oven, has anyone else gotten a dud pan from a third party seller on there?

Man, is it really that big a deal? You're acting like you lost a kidney instead of some cake batter and a forty-five dollar pan.

Filed a claim with my credit card company and got a refund that way. Also started only buying kitchen stuff from the brand's actual site or stores like Target now.

oh man, i gotta say that credit card claim thing works but you gotta be careful. i tried that once and my bank just gave me a hard time about it. they kept asking for proof and it took like 3 weeks to get my money back. not saying it's bad, just that it's not always smooth sailing.
and about the target thing, yeah they're legit for sure but honestly even big stores can get knockoffs sometimes. i saw a post last week where someone got a fake kitchenaid mixer from walmart. it was clearly a knockoff with bad paint and a wobbly base. so like even brand sites and stores aren't perfect.
the real issue is amazon's marketplace letting anyone sell stuff. that's where most of the counterfeits come from. target and brand sites at least have better quality control even if they mess up once in a while.
