Burned $200 on a "productivity course" that was just common sense
Bought a video course promising to cure freelancer burnout with time blocking and morning routines. It was basically 8 hours of "make a to-do list" and "take breaks." Anyone else get scammed by guru marketing when you were just tired?

Burned $200? I spent twice that on a course that just told me to make a to-do list then added "sync with calendar" as a bonus tip.

Sync with calendar" as a bonus tip is just brutal. I once paid $150 for a course on freelance writing and the main lesson was basically "just write what you know" and then they kept pitching their expensive coaching calls. Honestly I've learned more from free YouTube tutorials than any paid course I've ever tried, which is kind of sad when you think about it (and your wallet).

@shanes66 that "bonus tip" was probably the whole course repackaged. You got scammed and you know it.
