Can we talk about the 4 hour rule I saw in a Reddit thread on r/freelance
Somebody linked a 2023 survey from a freelance group saying the average solo worker puts in 4 hours of focused paid work a day, tops, and the rest goes to admin and messages. I tried tracking mine for a week and hit 4.5 on a good day, so I quit feeling guilty about closing the laptop at 3pm. Does that number match what you all see, or am I just tracking it weird?
