Last Wednesday was the best freelance day I've had in 8 months

I don't know what happened but last Wednesday was just a magical day. I woke up early and finished a big illustration order for a repeat client in Austin by 10am. Then I got a surprise email from a past client saying they loved my work and wanted to start a new project right away. No back and forth, no weird edits, just a straight yes. I took a real lunch break outside and didn't touch my phone for an hour. By 3pm I had wrapped up everything on my list and even had time to go for a bike ride before dinner. The whole week felt easy after that one day. Has anyone else had a random day where everything just clicked and it changed your whole mood?

Just enjoy it while it lasts, those days are pretty rare.

Is it weird that I actually read somewhere that those kind of days are way more common for people who don't stress about having them? I forget where I saw it, maybe a science blog or something. @sandragrant is totally right about the resetting thing though. I had one of those days last month where everything just clicked and I felt super clear headed for like a whole week after. Makes me wonder if chasing those days is what ruins them in the first place. Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like the harder I try to have a perfect day, the less likely it is to happen.
