Passed on a $1,400 retainer to keep my Fridays open, and I'm still not sure it was smart
A marketing agency in Portland offered me a steady retainer last month, but it meant giving up my Friday catch-up days. I said no and kept the open day, so my weekends stopped bleeding into work and my stress dropped fast. Has anyone here turned down steady money to protect a day off, and did you regret it later?
