Read a study that said 72% of freelancers don't take real vacations

I was reading a report from a freelance union site last night... it said nearly three out of four of us don't take a full week off in a year. That number really hit me because I realized I haven't taken a full week off since 2022. I always just work a little each day, checking emails from the beach or something. The report said this 'always-on' habit is a huge burnout trigger. It made me book three days next month with my work apps deleted from my phone. How do you all actually disconnect for a real break?

Delete everything and go camping somewhere with no service.

Totally agree, my phone dying was a blessing like @rivera.hannah said.

My friend's laptop died on a trip and he finally relaxed.
