Spent $260 on a robot vacuum to save time and it fixed my burnout more than any app
I bought a $260 Shark robot vacuum back in March because I was losing two hours every week to floors and it was eating into work time. Now it runs while I answer emails and I actually take a lunch break and go outside for 15 minutes. What's the one thing you've paid for that gave you back time instead of just draining your wallet?
I noticed this pattern when I finally started paying someone $40 to mow my lawn every two weeks. The money felt dumb at first but the Saturday mornings I got back were worth way more than the cash, and I stopped dreading the weekend. Same thing with grocery pickup, costs a few bucks extra but saves me an hour of wandering aisles. We treat time like it's free but it's the one thing you can't buy more of later, so paying to get some back makes total sense.
