Spent 3 hours on a logo revision today because I forgot to save at the right DPI
Was sitting in a coffee shop in Austin tweaking a client's logo, hit export, and realized I'd been working at 72 DPI the whole time like a complete goof. Had to redo all the vector work from scratch because my layers were merged. Has anyone else done something this dumb with file settings before?

Yeah I had a buddy who spent like four hours tuning gradients on this brand identity project and then realized he'd been working in CMYK when the client wanted RGB for a website. He had to redo all the color picking by eye because his swatches were completely off after conversion. Took him almost as long to fix it as it did to make it in the first place.

Whoa, hold up. You merged your layers AND had the DPI wrong? That's a rough combo. I've definitely messed up exporting at the wrong resolution before, but at least I could go back and fix it. Having all your vector work flattened into a single layer is a nightmare, especially after three hours of work.
