The week I stopped saying yes to every project, and actually got more done
Last month I had this crazy week where I turned down three small gigs and focused on just one big editing project for a returning client. I spent Monday actually mapping out my hours instead of jumping into emails at 6 AM. By Thursday I had finished the whole thing two days early and even had time to walk my dog in the afternoon. Friday I caught myself not dreading Monday for the first time in months. Has anyone else found that saying no to the little stuff actually helps your stress levels more than pushing through?

Three paragraphs about a video game trailer and @sean48 is acting like it's a personal tragedy? C'mon man, it's just pixels on a screen.

Have you ever actually had one of those gaming sessions where you're just trying to unwind after a long day and the game just throws everything at you that hits too close to home? lol It's weird how something as simple as a trailer can make you feel some type of way when you're not expecting it. I usually just table flip the controller, take a breather, and come back the next day with a fresh head. It's just pixels but sometimes those pixels know how to push your buttons at the worst time.
