TIL my 'always on' work phone was the main thing burning me out

About six months ago, I was on a hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains and my phone buzzed with a client email. I realized I hadn't gone a single waking hour without checking work in over three years. That was the moment I knew my 'hustle' mindset was broken. I turned the phone off for the rest of the weekend and felt a weight lift. How do you guys set real boundaries with your work hours?

Three years without a single unplugged hour sounds like a prison sentence.

Honestly that's just normal life now.

Agree with @kevint47, that's not normal life but a fast track to burnout.
